Hey. This thread is a chance for comrades who have a poetic spirit to submit their poems here. Especially those of a political nature, here are some of mine:

The Anarchist

Hot Damn Man
Blang Blang!
Bang Bang!
Just wanna fight
but don't know how
just wanna soar
but can't fly

Anarchy man!
Fuck shit up!
Yea Yea!
That's what we're about!

Don't want no leader
Just want a facilitator
Who just acts like one
Till its all over
Its all over

Now I'm burned out
I ain't got no time
Gotta grow up
Gotta realize
This Anarchy man
This fuck things up

The only one that gets fucked up

is us.

Stalin

I preached that I saw what marx saw
But to the working class I lied
Cause secretly I was really bourgeois
Luckily for Russia I died.

Stalin

From rock, bronze, plaster and paper, from two centimeters to seven meters

His pictures from rock, bronze, plaster and paper; in every square of the city

His shadow from rock, bronze, plaster and paper; on our trees in every park

His moustache from rock, bronze, plaster and paper; in our bawls of soup

We were in front of his eyes from rock, bronze, plaster and paper; in our own beds

He vanished one morning

His boots vanished from the squares,

his shadow from our trees

his moustache from our bawls soup

his eyes from our beds

And all the oppression caused by rock, bronze, plaster and paper vanished from our chests

I'd be curious to see what actual tangible arguments you have outside from your extremely biased and wrongly characterized poetry. :)

And btw, I've been informed that Marx Lenin Stalin is really a Trotskyist trying to appeal to VRKrovin to join the CP USA.

Why? Why would he want him to join the CPUSA?

While I was never much of a poet, I guess I could give it a try:

Stalin wasn't a very nice guy...

Stalin wasn't a very nice guy
He liked to kick people in the behind
He had really good food and housing
When everyone else didn't.
Also, his theory of "Socialism in one Country" was thoroughly un-marxist. Marxism is inherently internationalist, and socialism in one country is a rejection of internationalism. In fact, the following quote shows that Engels would have been opposed to the theory:

Originally posted by Friedrich [email protected] The Principles of Communism, 1847
"Will it be possible for this revolution to take place in one country alone?

No. By creating the world market, big industry has already brought all the peoples of the Earth, and especially the civilized peoples, into such close relation with one another that none is independent of what happens to the others. Further, it has co-ordinated the social development of the civilized countries to such an extent that, in all of them, bourgeoisie and proletariat have become the decisive classes, and the struggle between them the great struggle of the day. It follows that the communist revolution will not merely be a national phenomenon but must take place simultaneously in all civilized countries – that is to say, at least in England, America, France, and Germany. It will develop in each of the these countries more or less rapidly, according as one country or the other has a more developed industry, greater wealth, a more significant mass of productive forces. Hence, it will go slowest and will meet most obstacles in Germany, most rapidly and with the fewest difficulties in England. It will have a powerful impact on the other countries of the world, and will radically alter the course of development which they have followed up to now, while greatly stepping up its pace. It is a universal revolution and will, accordingly, have a universal range."

Yeah.. Never was much of a poet. Nor was I ever very funny.

Socialism in one country actually kind of makes sense. It just means that you must first better yourself before you can help others....

Atleast that's how I see it.

No Marx Lenin Stalin wants to join the CP USA....so he's trying to get on VRKrovin's good side.

I dunno...it's just what I've heard. :)

I've heard that from a number of Stalinists, and it usually goes alongside "but only Stalin could have defeated the Nazis!"

Of course, this is probably true, the rapid industrialisation was what saved the USSR against the Nazis, yet they never seem to consider the fact that had they gone with Trotsky's theory of Permanent Revolution, the German Communist party may well have won, or at least managed to form a stronger opposition and stopped the rise of the far-right, and then Russia wouldn't even needed to have fought a war! I'm not a Trotskyite, but it's just a point many people don't consider.

Not my poetry, it come from a Stone Roses song which I can only assume is about stamping out the British monarchy, something which I agree with completely and whole-heartedly :)

Tear me apart and boil my bones
I'll not rest 'til she's lost her throne
My aim is true, my message is clear
It's curtains for you, Elizabeth my dear

Comrade J

Stalin defeated the Nazis,
Which I suppose is really ace,
But if the bastard had gone with Permanent Revolution,
There wouldn't have been Nazis to fight in the first place!

Not very poetic, just realised my last post wasn't a poem... thought I should state my point in a (sort of) rhyming way :D

The Fog

The people's eyes were shut closed
Their memories only of times of tragedy
All hope was lost
In the fog

The machines were rolling down our cities
Soldiers were fighting no longer
Enemies were everywhere

Our future looked bleaked...

But then

We were led
by a Hero by our Leader By our Chairman
Into victory over the enemies

Onward to progress
Onward to hope

That will also be possible
With our beloved Comrade leading the way

Did you wrote it youself, MLS? It is a very nice poem in any case.

I've written some poems, but they're in Dutch, so I guess it isn't of much use to post them here :P

I've wrote a poem in English (more difficult then I thought, by the way  :P )

Freedom
Freedom!
Freedom!
Freedom!
Whole the capitalist world screams
“Freedom doesn’t exist there
Where socialism appears”
“No political parties” they scream
“No free enterprising” they scream
Narrow minded these capitalists were
And are

I see no freedom, freedom no can I see,
There where capitalism is, freedom I see flee
Where free political parties are on the rise, I see
Suppression of equal participation and corruption, so far from free

And when the people are sick of this capitalist ‘freedom’,
When the yearn for freedom,
They yearn for liberation
For equality and rights for everyone
And oh they will!
Then the whole working class will scream:
Freedom!
Freedom!
Freedom!

No Marx Lenin Stalin wants to join the CP USA....so he's trying to get on VRKrovin's good side.

I dunno...it's just what I've heard. :)
What the hell are you talking about??

I have no intention of joining a reformist organization like the "CP" USA. So why would I have any interest in getting VR Krovin or anyone else to join it? I don't know where you heard such lies or if you just made it up yourself. You could have just asked me or read my posts to find the truth. In fact, the ONLY political party I've ever recommended was the one VR Krovin started himself and the one he is the leader of.
