Does anyone know of any left-wing book shops in SW England or South Wales. Anywhere in the country also would be helpful, so if I'm ever, say in Leeds, I'll know where to look. Ta, luvs x x

Book shops? Why not order them online from AK Press or something?

If you just want to read the book, you could search for infoshops in your area.

Unfortunately most have now closed down - Liverpool and London are one of the few still surviving. It is especially bad if you just want to browse or see the left press. Some political spaces do have books and papers on sale - I know Basement in Manchester does.

There are a few secondhand bookshops wihich have Left books such as

Nick Spurrier Started 1978. Shop in Folkestone 1997-2000. Mail order.

Northern Herald Books Bob Jones No shop. Bookstalls; Mail order

Left on the Shelf Set up Feb1992. Dave Cope bought the 2nd hand stock from Central Books on closure of shop at Grays Inn Road. No shop; stalls & mail order.
