I was at the Union Square protest here in New York City. Lots of Liberal radical democrats. Carl Dix, spokesperson of the RCP spoke. There were several people selling RCP newspapers, Revolution. There was also some guy waving a black nationalist flag. It was pretty good. What was weird is that if I didn't know better, I would've never have guess the RCP is Maoist after reading the paper and listening to Carl. Not as radical as MIM lol

I was there in Portland. I didn't get any pics of it because the pigs confiscated my camera (and they say that they don't have it now, oh well, it was a $2 disposable one anyway.)

Anyway, I was near the front for about a half hour before I ducked into a local bakery for about ten minutes to get a bagel. When I got back the police started beating everyone within range with their billy clubs. They were about to start firing tear gas when the hilicopters showed up and they went into a regular line. I got the bruses to proove it.

Hehehe, MIM is hardly Maoist comrade. Their line is basically something called Third World Theory, which was something the Chinese Communist Party believed for less that a year before it was repudiated.

Also, I don't think MIM's "One Big Gulag" theory (the theory that all Americans are reactionary and should be put into one collectivized gulag) is radical, it's just stupid, and an excuse from the responsibility of building a revolution in the US.

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the rally man! :D

Although it was basically a nationwide protest against Bush and his cabinet and really never addressed the true problem specifically capitalism, I think it was a rather good cause for all to be out there

Here in LA, we had a pretty good turnout
Though not as big as in NY
