Communism is an ideology which seeks to establish a future classless, stateless social organization, based upon common ownership of the means of production and the absence of any forms of private property. something like that

Something can have a definition but have a different meaning , expecially to an individual more importantly if its an Ideology. so it wasnt the defenition that I want persay as much as YOUR defenition. If some one was completely ignorant to communism , how or what focus points that touch you or do you most relate too.

To me Communism is just a form of government true communism can be achieved but its almost impossible True communism is a philosophy while the communism in The Soviet Union was just a non-democratic non-liberal homophobic form of government its cant be even called communism if you ask me

To me its the idealistic-drive to help those less fortunate as I am not exactly a full proletariat so clearly my class interests are elsewhere. Having been influenced highly by Nietzsche and hardline realism, revolutionaryism also offers the greatest fill and experience of life possible under capitalism.
Or something like that, I'm really tired right now.

To me communism is a classless (That means without any form of government.) "system".
And in my opinion there is no communist state, not in the present and not in the past.

Communism is simply, a stateless, classless, property-less eqalitarian society. There is no "true" communism, such a term is redundant: communism requires a very specific set of material conditions to manifest.

Communism (As a society):A classless, world-wide, and decentralized form of socialism.
Communism (As a movement): A movement which seeks a classless, world-wide, and decentralized form of socialism.

For me communism is the next great leap forward the human race is getting ready to take. A huge evolutionary leap forward like our ancestors standing upright or using tools. A huge positive social upheaval that will herald a new era of human progress and harness the awesome power of co-operation.

To me, communism is a bottle of cool, fresh Leninade (http://www.bevnet.com/reviews/leninade/).
Nah. To me, communism is an amazing step forward for human kind, but it is also a process. A process of growing cooperation, understanding, and new perspectives on old issues that results in a society that gives everyone a chance to be free from the exploitation and oppression that so many people in today's world are subjected to every day.

Communism to me represents the next logical step in human societal progress. It is the answer to the atrocities of capitalism, just as capitalism was to feudalism, and feudalism to the slave state.
Communism is freedom, equality, the opportunity to thrive.
My obligation is to live my life in accordance as best I can with my idealogy by fightign injustice where I see it, and by encouraging and teaching others to do the same.

Communism is the creation of a stateless, egalitarian, classless society. It is the destruction of the modern capitalist state which dehuhaminizes individuals, is an alienating force, and perpetuates misery and suffering to human beings everywhere. It is the working classes taking their historical role and taking over the structure of society, once and for all destroying any such class structure.

I wouldn't call it "paradise" exactly.
and what your obligations if any as a communist.
To support communism and at least to help struggle for it.

Communism is the end of all social antagonisms created by class society. Under communism, every person will be, for lack of a better word, an ‘overman’ who creates freely and overcomes his or her problems without inhibition.

Dissenter, cenv, juice, breadbros and HA sum up what it means for me aswell to a great extent. It won't be simply a question of economics, or making society more democratic, but something much grander..
An era of new creativity, brought on by the removal the limitations and insecurity inherit in capitalism, poverty and superstition. Our struggle is ultimately as much one of freeing minds, as it is one of satisfying all people's physical needs. It's about optimising the use of our potential.
And communism's victory is inevitable as a product of the evolution of our species.
