Can someone list some of the determining factors that lead to the revolutionary events at Concord and Lexington, that ignited all of the 13 colonies? Can I get a Marxian anaylsis on the economic and political reasons that this revolution occured? I am already aware of the Stamp tax, Billeting Act, Sugar Act, Townsend Acts, etc. etc., but I would like to hear something far more detailed on why this occured. Was it in the immediate interests of the growing colonial bourgeoisie to resist the mercantilist system?

A couple Marxist intros to the subject:
Class Forces in the American Revolution (http://www.marxists.org/archive/braverman/1946/03/amer-rev.htm) by Harry Frankel
The Movement for American Independence (http://www.marxists.org/archive/novack/works/1950/jul/01.htm), by George Novack

If you want more detail, I recommend a book called "America's Revolutionary Heritage", by Novack et al, contains those articles and others.

Well, it all started one hot summer day when the British asked the colonists to do their research for them...
