Hello
Just registered, and i am a recent convert to communism after breifly studying communism and capitalism. Have taken several differnent political aptitude tests and have always come up as slight-to-mid-leftwing. The communist ideal feels right to me, and i would like to learn evenmore about it.

Yes, I agree that reading the Communist Manifesto would be a good place to start. Another useful idea might be to read a biography of Marx to get an overview of the times he lived in and how he came to his conclusions about capitalism.

But of course, learn and read on your own. Observe your own surroundings and your own community - perhaps with a more class-conscious outlook? For example, do you live an upper class, middle class, working class area? What are the working conditions like? Are there any struggles, especially labor struggles that are happening right now that you might be able to get involved in?

After all, experience is life's best teacher. ;)

There is an anarchism for beginners study group starting in the "study groups" section of "learning" on this board, we will be dealing alot with different visions of communism.
