N Korea 'to conduct nuclear test'

North Korea is to conduct a nuclear test "in the future", the foreign ministry has said in a statement.
The move would bolster the country's self-defence in the face of US military hostility, official agency KCNA said.

Pyongyang has faced mounting pressure over its nuclear programme. It is thought to have a handful of warheads but is not known to have tested one.

Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Aso has called the test plans "totally unforgivable", Kyodo agency reports.

Six-nation talks on its programme have been stalled for nearly a year, and the US has imposed financial sanctions on North Korean businesses.

'Grave situation'

The statement from Pyongyang said it would "in the future conduct a nuclear test under the condition where safety is firmly guaranteed".

"The US daily increasing threat of a nuclear war and its vicious sanctions and pressure have caused a grave situation on the Korean Peninsula," it said.

The ministry went on to say that "under the present situation in which the US moves to isolate and stifle" North Korea, the country "can no longer remain an onlooker to the developments."

It's generally sensible though, not to let slightly unhinged 'communist' (I know he isn't, so hush) dictators with a military complex, have nuclear weapons.

Because last time i checked Bush didn't let tens of thousands of his people starve to death in order to have nukes, while he could be using that money to pay for his own citizens who he obviously doesn't give a damn about. Anybody who has that sort of disregaurd for life probably shouldn't have nukes.

Kim Jong is basically a dictator. He centralizes the economic power and uses it for his own good, not creating social equality or ridding off the class system. Most of the taxes goes towards the military, and he has essentially blocked North Korean citizens inside.

Personally, I think that he uses the nuclear weapon testings as a muscle flexing, making opposing nations afraid to invade. He should definetly be overthrown, preferably by the people of North Korea, by the means of a democratic revolution.

However, if Bush and his boys would be coming in to shoot their way to "democrazy"(haha), the civilian casualties would be too significant, and the last thing the world needs today is more puppet-countries for the developed capitalist countries.

Because he's a madman.

That should be obvious. Use your fucking brain.

No madmen should have nukes, including Bush. None should have them. Nuclear proliferation is not good.

Why can't you people think? It's pitiful. The average communist is really as ignorant as the average conservative Christian, just in a different way.

Just as one group deludes itself into thinking Jesus is coming, another deludes itself into thinking a certified maniac getting the Big One is a step forward for Communist revolution.

Guess what happens when your proleterian revolution happens in a nuclear armed country? Button press. No more 'proletearian revolution'.
