View Full Version : A open letter of gratitude to the USA.

I am interested in gauging communist opinions to this little letter I just wrote...

To the people of the United States of America...

Thank you.

I sometimes find that much of the world, including many Marxist European governments in particular, manifest great ingratitude towards you for helping them defeat the Nazis and their allies, the Communists.

Your people selflessly liberated Europe, Asia, South Korea, Afghanistan and Iraq from tyranny. And whilst other nations screamed invasion, those liberated screamed gratitude.

Other nations sacrificed thier sons for conquest. You did so only so that others might be made free.

No other nation has contributed so much to the fields of art, science and technology as have yours. The quantity of your Nobel Prize winners speaks volumes of this. Furthermore, your technological produce have transformed and revolutionised the living standards of the world.

You have freed the Earth from the twin tyrannies of communism and fascism and have provided the Earth a lasting foundation for democratic stability from which we may steadfastly and safely advance into the 21st century.

In essence America, you have created the modern world.

Allow me to add that I am not even an American, though I am proud to say that my father was fortunate to have served in your USAF in preparation for a paradrop on Japan after he was liberated.

Without you America, we would be in hell right now.

Thank you.

No other nation has contributed so much to the fields of art, science and technology as have yours
you're wrong.... no other nation contributed ANYTHING!

You have freed the Earth from the twin tyrannies of communism and fascism and have provided the Earth a lasting foundation for democratic stability from which we may steadfastly and safely advance into the 21st century.

No you're not, you're interested in trolling a message board and cumming in your pants at the idea of having irritated some people. However you shall get my full and frank opinion of this decaying heap of shit.

To the people of the United States of America... Good start...

Thank you. Here you and I have parted ways, you're thanking a group of people who have not nesecarilly even given support to the things you describe, much less actually done them. But that's merely a semantic point.

I sometimes find that much of the world, including many Marxist European governments in particular, manifest great ingratitude towards you for helping them defeat the Nazis and their allies, the Communists. What marxist european governments would those be? Because I can only see Liberal (in the classic sense) governments. I guess you don't know a lot about politics, chum? How much "help" the Americans gave the Europeans in WWII is often disputed. Their "allies" the communists actually did a lot more in the breaking of Hitler, especially as they were the first into Berlin.

Your people selflessly liberated Europe, Asia, Specific countries if you will and a coherent explanation of why you describe them as 'liberated'.
South Korea, Afghanistan and Iraq from tyranny. And whilst other nations screamed invasion, those liberated screamed gratitude. Yeah, those 'liberated' did indeed scream. I wouldn't describe it as gratitude though, more sort of "agony at having their arms and legs blown off". Also their are several groups, with a lot of ordinary working class support, in those countries that contend that they were invasion and therfore defend their country against the imperialist agresors.

Other nations sacrificed thier sons for conquest. You did so only so that others might be made free. Baseless, you have yet to illustrate one example of the Ameri**** Army allowing anyone increased freedom.

No other nation has contributed so much to the fields of art, science and technology as have yours. No other single nation, with the exception of china is as populous and as large, of course people will advance in those fields if only by law of averages, but ask yourself - who made the more important advances.
The quantity of your Nobel Prize winners speaks volumes of this. Actually it just speaks volumes about the quantity of people in the country, some of whom will win nobel prizes. Bear in mind that most of the Ameri****s with nobel prizes have mickey mouse ones from slow years in innovation.
Furthermore, your technological produce have transformed and revolutionised the living standards of the world. Oh indeed, without the sweatshop where would Indonesia be?

You have freed the Earth from the twin tyrannies of communism and fascism The world freed itself from Fascism, it was not one nation. Communism isn't a tyranny, fuckwit.
and have provided the Earth a lasting foundation for democratic stability from which we may steadfastly and safely advance into the 21st century. PFHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA "a lasting foundation for democratic stability" hahahahahahahahahaha, christ that's a good one. The countries the US invades are actually less stable now. I also hope like fuck they don't bring US demockracy to the world, because that is a fucking joke.

In essence America, you have created the modern world. A world that many people seek to change for the better, makes you wonder doesn't it?

Allow me to add that I am not even an American, What are you then, you wanker, that would speak so highly of such a tyrannical, imperialist nation?
though I am proud to say that my father was fortunate to have served in your USAF in preparation for a paradrop on Japan after he was liberated. So he was brainwashed and sent to kill people in Japan. We all know how well the 'liberation' of Hiroshima and Nagasaki went, don't we?

Without you America, we would be in hell right now. No we wouldn't, hell is a story that is told to gullible people from a rather venerable book of stories known as "The Bible".

Thank you. Oh fuck off you fawning ****.

Thank you, to the American government for the countless times you've lied to us. Thank you for all the innocent men women and children your soldiers have killed in the middle east. Thank you for putting a fucking moron like George Bush in power. Thank you, oh thank you for influencing every single one of my fucking friends with their "Crips shoot Bloods" mentality that is invading France. Thank you for putting Saddam in power in the first place.

I would go on, but i shan't. At the end of the day, i have nothing against the American people... sure some americans can be morons, but so can everyone, regardless of where you come from. It's the corrupt, disgusting capitalist government that i detest. How can you justify the massacre of hundreds of innocent people in Iraq? The people who never asked for any of this? How can you justify Nagasaki and Hiroshima?

The North Americans that died fighting for freedom in Europe should be sincerly thanked, and not thrashed. They sacrificed their lives for the most valuable(and finite) resource on this globe: freedom. There is nothing corruptable with that. They were of a greater group all working for that same goal.

This letter however, shows a fucking extreme ignorance. Even as a capitalist you cannot honestly believe that any Axis country was communist? If you are refering to Hitler's "National Socialism" you can see the every-day facism that was going on in Germany at the time. Arresting union leaders, believers of different ideologies, invoking indepent thought, promoting "survival of the strongest"?

Sounds a lot like Satanism if you'd ask me. Fuck, Hitler used God as a cover, so Id feel it would be more accurate to blame Christianity itself. Of ignorance, ignorance is produced.

...and yes, I am sure that USA freed AAALL of Europe, AAALL by themselves. That actually seems to be alot of the mentality here in North America.

Sure...

PS: I changed "Americans" to "North Americans", dont wanna forget the Canadians :)

Well, i appreciate all the replies.

Why did I say European governments are Marxist? Because they are. Ever heard of this thing called the graduated income tax? An idea of Marx btw. See a little thingy happened in 1848 when some ingrates scrapped the poll tax and replaced it with this abomination.

Thank you, to the American government for the countless times you've lied to us. Thank you for all the innocent men women and children your soldiers have killed in the middle east. Thank you for putting a fucking moron like George Bush in power.
You'd be counting your lucky stars you're no longer living under Saddam or the Taliban. George Bush did nothing wrong to remove them. Ask someone who actually lived under these regimes.

Well, the communists also arrested union leaders and beleivers of different ideologies, They promoted a survival of the slimiest based upon a horrific conformist culture. I really don't see much difference between fascism and communism and nor did the USA, hence the cold war. Thanks again USA. I love you.

You have to learn what fascism and communism is before making assumptions.Reading biased history books that tell you that the U.S landing on D-Day was the turning point of WWII is not a great start.

This (http://marx.org/archive/trotsky/works/1944/1944-fas.htm#p1) explains what fascism is very clearly.

As for Communism (http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1847/11/prin-com.htm) in a nutshell, it is a stateless, classless society.

Start reading.

And

Damn you should've known this before starting threads on how communism is the same as fascism. Oh well, you learn something new everyday, eh jerk?

Ok, so if everyone in Iraq who lived under Saddam's regime is perfectly happy with their 'liberation,' then why are 3000 soldiers dead? (And more so, why is the number rising?)

Are you retarded? Britain was fighting while a lot of Americans were still pretending that nothing was going on, and the British fought in Africa and Asia. Not to mention their tremendous participation in the liberation of western Europe. If not for Britain, Germany could rule the Atlantic unchecked, they would have moved through the Middle East and the Caucasus, and could even have linked up with the Japanese, who could have directed their full attention towards China and America if not for Britain. Italy would have never been invaded, either.

So think before you open your dumbass mouth the next time, thank you.

No - when did I say that? Just remarking about how many scumbags are in the military. Our government only attacked Germany when it became clear that they were a threat to our interests, but I don't think that that means we shouldn't have invaded Germany.

Why don't you start responding to more tangible arguments when you post shit, anyways? You only go after the "easy" arguments and somehow think you've demolished the whole ideology that someone or a group might have. You're just trying to justify your own anti-communism, apparently.

"murderer" is also a moral term. I prefer morality to law, but thats just me.

The U.S. wanted revenge for Pearl Harbor, and the aggression in general. that was understood by Truman and many conservatives who still support the bombing.

well if by revenge you mean strategically trying to avoid losing a war and therefore your soveriegnty than ok.

rape wasn't nearly as common as hiring prostitutes, but either way the places where my grandad was weren't really inhabited by anyone but japanese soldiers.
