Well actually they already are fascists, but in any case, here's (http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/story?id=2455343) a video of some evangelical children learning to be god's soldiers. Pretty scary.

That's really quite scary. Quite glad good ol' King Henry seriously shat upon massively-organised religion in this country.

thats disgusting, brainwashing religion I swear. Built from desperation and ignorance, you can convince someone to believe in anything, and that proves it. I feel sorry for those kids, taught to believe in nothing, base their 'faith' upon imagination, christianity marks the fall of mankind.

Its really wierd how you get these kinda crazy fundimentalists, who are making gods army of children.
And in the same country you get those armish christians who are totally pacifist.
While both i bet claim to be better christians than the other group.

You guys really think those people represent the majority of Christians? That's not even Christianity, that's a bunch of morons being duped into donating their money and children to these mega-churches. The hardcore Christians would be the monks living in monastarys, not these wacko's.

Look on the bright side. This gives us an oppurtunity by setting up our own youth Communist camps under the guise of Christian camps where thousands of kids will flock to us in order to hear the good word of Karl Marx, opps I meant Jesus Christ.
Parents-'So what did you learn at Bible camp sweety'
Child- 'That the proletriat must revolt against the evil captalists'
Parents- 'Ooh how sweet, lil jimmy must be talking about how Jesus died for our sins'.
Parents see a picture that jimmy has brought back with him.
Mother- 'Thats a very interesting picture of Jesus'
Father- 'Well yes indeed, I never recall Jesus having a rather large bushy moustache'

Sorry for necroposting but I'm currently watching the whole documentary and laughing my ass off. There's the whole movie posted by a user, starting here. (http://youtube.com/watch?v=KC3jnQLj_zM) Looks well worth the time to inform about the non-Islamic fundamentalists. I'm so glad I wasn't raised religiously now.
Edit: LOL @ Evangelical arguments against scientific global warming.

Sir, welcome to Islam indeed. This is Christianity that is being discussed, not Islam. Of course Islam has problems, but so does Christianity.
Religion is the common part of both of these, I think it is safe to say that religion is the problem.

I just finished watching this movie, and wow. The movie is good, unlike Micheal Moore films, which are biased slightly for the left (which isn't always a bad thing for us), it gives a even perspective of each side. But over all it shows how conservative America is going after youth of today for their ultimate goal of tomorrow. The woman (a pastor I believe) says that ultra liberals must be shaking in their boots watching this movie. I'm sure most of us are laughing at them, however, it is a problem that children are being raised to be ignorant to other cultures and beliefs because its "against god's will. This is why people hate America, because some are raised to be neo-conservative radicals. Which us on the other hand were brought into this by our selves (or at least I hope). But thats just my 2 cents.

yah the church they are all following is in MY TOWN.
It's really scary watching these kids walk around downtown lee's summit in the exact same places I walk all the time!
On top of that I drive by that church everyday, and I even have some friends who used to go.

One thing i respect jesus for is that he stood up to the roman empire! So, i think its obvious that if Jesus was alive today he would stand against the US empire. Its just a shame christians dont get taught that aspect of the biblical stories.

what gets me is there are some aspects of the bible/christianity, which seem to promote leftism, for example theres that verse about 'the rich man entering the kingdom of god being comparable to the camel entering the eye of a needle!'
It makes me wonder how money loving right wingers ever managed to hijack this.

Marxism is promoted by the Bible, when the people are truly led by God though. Marxism has failed and will continue to fail because people are sinful and it is human nature to try to gain power, that's why communism failed, because of the dictators need for power.

In my experience in South Florida, Most teens (in my school) are apathtic (however, some share liberal views...some have none...and some are "moderates"...some are conservatives yet don't care/support the GOP; yet they just don't care much about politics. ) while there's a group of rabid conservative right-wingers. I've only meet 3 lefties in Miami, outside my school.

The Roman Empire was a slave society. Its going to look much worse. But the USA owns huge amounts of $1 a day workers in third world country's. Its not too different from real
slavery.

Well...take in the fact that the majority of the population in South Florida is hispanic...and where I live the majority of them are recent immigrants.
These recent immigrants, the more recent they are the more conservative views. However, this is due to religious considerations; few of them support the GOP or any american party and few are involved politically in anyway. The least recent are mostly moderates or liberals views, yet apathetic. The ones born in the US some are interested in US politics, yet the group that shows its prescence the mosy are GOP backing conservatives. The people who are born here with liberal views seem apathetic though, except with the occasional "end the war in Iraq", etc.

Oh no? And what, pray tell, do you call the McCarthy trials? Is the Iraq war not simply case of predators feeding on their prey? What do you call the actions of the KKK - the product of White Anglo Saxon America. No, perhaps your right, America are like the circus ring-masters, Guantanamo Bay is an example of these ring-masters caging those lions they couldn't tame eh?

Which is why I say, Long live anarchy!. Also, there are many different forms of communism. Some are susceptible to a dictatorship, others are not. There is not only one kind of communism.

Heres the torrent (http://www.torrentspy.com/torrent/917516/Jesus_Camp_DVDRIP) for the full movie. Its deffinately worth watching. I love how she says she has no political ambitions, but tells her kids to bless a cardboard cutout of Bush.
Christianity is a strange one. The whole concepts of it make Judaism and Islam seem entirely plausable, at least their god doesnt have a split personality disorder or delicious blood.
