The new terror detainee bill allows the President to detain and tortore anyone he wants. Including American Citizens If this bill passes then it will be legal for the governmento grab you off the street and torture you to death for no reason without ever charging you with anything. All they have to do is designate you an enemy combatant and then they can strip you of you're citizenship and then do whatever they want to you. This is means that it will litterally be legal for the president to have huge swimming pools full of blood from torture victims and to BarBQ small children on the whitehouse lawn all in the name of stopping the terrorists. Under this new law anyone who disagrees with the president can be designated as an enemy combatant and tortured to death. In fact it would even be legal for Bush to openly murder terror suspects on live Televisioin. This bill will officially make Bush a dictator and allow him to do whatever he wants without fear of consequences.

Wow, he's finally openly going for full dictatorial powers. And you know what else, he'll get given them too. Fucking disgusting.

Yeah, it is a truly awful bill. Senators argued with him on a few relatively minor points while letting the worst thing simply go by - the indefinite detentions without charge or trial. The bill limits the court challenge of those detentions.
This is something Bush has been doing anyway - but now Congress, including many Democrats, is giving its seal of approval.

Whitten, killing him won't help. He is very disposable, something he probably knows. He's like the puppet, rather than the puppet controller.
As for these powers, I bet the American people will see a dramtic decrease in "terror alerts" and attacks as soon as Bush/the Republican neo-cons get all the powers they want.
And it will probably affect other countries as well. Just think what governments will do if America threatens to harm tourists or us citizens who used to citizens of another country.

I want Peter Griffin for president. I bet he'd do a better job.

This time it really went too far. Imagine nazi Germany with the kind of power the US has today... Hell, they can make a person who refuses to join the army a terrorist...

Was the new terror detainee bill in place when Janet Reno ordered the BBQing of those 67 children in Waco? Do you really think a bill is going to stop or assisist in the torture and BBQing of people, Comrades?

Yes, but it is a transition to open torture and a leap in the transition to fascism.
