The Communist League

I have just recently been considering joining an organization, that I feel is actually worth joining, and would like to ask so members some questions and requests.

1). Does the league adhere to any specific sect, or is just for Communists of all persuasions?

2). What sort of activities does the League do? Demonstrations, protests, rallies, that sort of thing.

3). Membership fees?

4). What is the internal structure of the League like?

5). Describe briefly your personal opinions on the League.

6). Any kind of public outreach work?

Those are my main questions, any input would be greatly appreciated.

1). Does the league adhere to any specific sect, or is just for Communists of all persuasions?

It's for people that agree with our basic statements and principles, and is a member of the working class, or if too young, parents are from a working class background.



2). What sort of activities does the League do? Demonstrations, protests, rallies, that sort of thing.

There isn't a set list for what we do, by looking on our site about what actions we support and etcetera, you can get a better picture. Pretty much things that affect the working class and the oppressed, The recent Detroit Teachers Strike is a good example. If comrades are able, they do go to demonstrations,protests, etc.. i've been to many myself.



3). Membership fees?

I don't think there are any at this point, one of the reasons I like the league, Although

4). What is the internal structure of the League like?

This is a pretty broad question, that can best be answered in dialogue with different league members, I believe it to be one of the most truly democratic movements out there.

5). Describe briefly your personal opinions on the League.

Well i find the league to be one of the only groups that is getting things right, of course im biased, but Ive done a lot of looking and the league really stands apart from all the petty-bourgeois controlled groups, SWP,SP, etc...


6). Any kind of public outreach work?

Again, could you specifiy, what kind of outreach, most league members I know are actively involved in their community, and work to reach out to the community.
