OK I am no fan of Billy Talent But I have got a question about the new song called Red Flag. Is this song pro or anti leftism, me and somebody I know where having a disscusion about it. I think it is pro leftism and he thinks it is anti, and I just want some other peoples input on this subject. Thanks

Well going by the lyrics I would say its pro-left: Lyrics (http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/Red-Flag-lyrics-Billy-Talent/CCAEF426497320954825703C0007BCF8)

I have no idea about the band's political orientation, or anything else for that matter. My friends say they are good live though :)

I would say that song is anti-establishment anti-right, but also (accurately) critical of modern leftism for watering itself down. Sort of along the lines of RaTM Wake Up.

Terrible. But catchy pop punk is terribly catchy, and everytime I hear it I end up singin/stuckin my head all day.

That song has been out ages, I first heard it in a computer game about a year ago

I think it's anti-left but it's not as if pop-punk bands write their lyrics with any deep sentiment

A few other catchy Billy Talent songs are Try Honesty & River Below

anyone know where i can get a dl of this song?

You should instantly be banned from the music thread for that.

The first time I listened to crass my reaction was " this is shit" but I left it on and an hour or so later I realised I had crass on the entire time.
