Okay, so I am completley confused on the subject of Zionism. Are communists anti-zionists? If so, people say that that make us anti-semitic.
i know that soviets saw zionism as a form of bourgeois nationalism, but then some communists sympathized with zionists. whats the real deal? I am so confused?

Are communists anti-zionists?
Yes.

If so, people say that that make us anti-semitic.
Zionists may say that. But we don't support nationalism period. We don't oppose it based on the premise that we hate Jews but that we believe nationalism is reactionary.

but then some communists sympathized with zionists.
Some socialists have but most of them were Jewish.

We oppose Jewish nationalism the same way we opposed Aryan nationalism

All the above are true. But we also need to be careful that we don't start using anti-Semitic caricatures and language in our struggle against Zionism. We also need to make sure that we don't get so caught up in anti-Zionism we forget that there are hundreds of other really important issues for leftists to be taking care of.

Anti-Semitism is alive and well in the Left and must be eliminated.
