Ah I love them live, in venues anyway, the sound at festivals is crap.

Was right at the front last December, met and talked to the band for an hour or so before the gig, really nice guys.

They are fucking AMAZING live :o

Seen them twice, both times I was amazed by the performance. And I see a lot of live bands, so it's not like I don't know what I'm talking about, and in comparison Cradle are one of the best bands I've ever seen live.

If you have an opportunity to go see them, then go for it, they're superb.

Also... I like Dani Filth :wub:

They are really, really good imo. Hadn't listened to them for a while, downloaded some now. Thanks for the tip J! Cthulhu Dawn is my favo song so far.

New album comes out 16th October, but I downloaded it the other day, I reeeeally didn't like it at all at first; they really have lost their old sound which I love so much, never gonna get another Her Ghost In The Fog or anything that good. Still, after repeated listens, the album is growing on me.

My favourite tracks on it are 'Foetus of a New Day Kicking' (you can listen to this on www.cradleoffilth.com) and 'Cemetery And Sundown', which has an awesome beginning, I recommend CoF fans get that.

I would say that Cradle of Filth are perhaps the worst successful band in history of metal - a genre they defame with their dire addition to it.

Ok, changed my stance on Thornography (the new album) - it's fucking brilliant :D
Just took some getting used to. Cemetery And Sundown, best intro to a song I've heard in a loooong time.
