October 4th 2006 marks the 70th anniversary of the peoples uprising
against Mosley's British Union of fascists (BUF) and state forces sent to
protect them in Cable Street, Londons East End. The fascists and cops were
on the receiving end of a severe hiding that effectively ended the BUF as
a force on the streets and humiliated the police with trapped units
actually surrendering to the victorious anti-fascists.

To commemorate this famous victory an evening of Ska, Skinhead Reggae, Oi
and Streetpunk will be held in Voodoo Lounge, Aaron Quay, Dublin on
Saturday Sept 30th 2006. Bands billed to appear are Runnin'Riot, The
Freebooters and Brigada Flores Magon. Also DJ sets with Roddy Moreno (The
Oppressed), Colin (Runnin'Riot), Traycee (Dublin), Anke Buschperle
(Mannheim) and Kingston Sounds (Limerick). From 8pm-3am Pasaran - €8
