One of my favorite ska punk bands, catch 22, a band who i had thought were a-political seem to have made a sharp left turn.

I have listened to the last album called permanent revolution and its all good stuff.

Thats the wiki article on it.

I totally wet my self when the album arrived in the post and i saw the red fist lol.

this album deffinatly has everything goin for it. great concept, great musicianship, and yah even great art work. i didn't previously really know all that much about catch 22 so when i found out somebody was making and album about trotsky i freeked , and then i was even happier to find out it was an all in all great album.
hopefully it will spark an interest in communism with some of catch 22's not so political usuall listeners

I saw them at warped tour, and I talked with their singer about politics (he was working at their tent where they sell shirts and CDs and such). He said he wasn't a Marxist, but he was sympathetic and would have to read a lot more before he would be able to call himself a Marxist.
