I had this deadly pair of jeans that I loved until my bro decided to rob them and wear them to work. They came back with the bottoms of the legs shredded to bits.
So now I'm gonna stencil the shit outta them!
I'm thinking CLASS WAR and a cocktail on the arse pockets, and that Anarchist stencil with the girl holding the A balloon along the left leg (get the subtle meaning??)
I'll post pictures up when I get it done. :D

Here's a pic of the front. Also in the pic are the two other stencils I'll use on the back pockets.
I was gonna use spraypaint but couldn't find it... So I used acrylic art paint instead. I dunno how permanent this is; any ideas how I can make it last longer?

use fabric spraypaint, and put a small layer of superglue over the ink.

those pants don't seem to be that worn.
anyway, you could also find a piece of red fabric and cut it in a star-shape before sewing them to your pants, or a red n black star (they're cooler)

I'll try to find an army smog vest. I really liked to train with those vests. I think a red star on the back will do the trick, and maybe some stenceling too.

Man I love stenciling. That looks pretty good by the way, but as said earlier you should definetly use fabric paint or a sprayable dye. Also I think the picture above would look even sweeter if you multi-layered the stenciling.

I don't use spray paint on clothes because once when I did it look cool, but after a couple of washes, the paint became incredibly faded. Now I use patches and iron them on.

You're approaching this like an army operation. The trick with DIY is to just go for it and have a ball.

Or, you could have an idea of what you're doing, and thus not have to buy a new pair of pants

I'm wearing this pair of pants I covered 100% with punk rock patches... pretty awesome... just sitting around with my chaos spike hair up, leather jacket... I got ready way too early- have to wait an hour before happy hour... no booze no cigs....
But yeah, I'll have to post some awesome stencils I did of this big sunflower with this huge fucking (A) in the middle of it... and one of a rifle with "Green Piece- shoot a butcher today" written on it.

I've done a similiar thing. I drew an outline of a hammer/sickle on my jeans and with several perma markers covered the rest of the pants.

I had the same problem with all my jeans (the bottoms shredded to fuck) she like cut off the loose ends, rolled them up and put pins in certain spots and sowed them together, now all of my jeans fit absolutely perfectly.

i love that balloon girl, i actually used the second stencil RB made from a photo
this one:

i'd like to blow it up and stick it on a tee or something. jeans i find look cool patched. i have a really old pair that i've covered with patches. my black jeans i've also patched and put some camo around half of one leg. takes a while to hand sew though. and i was cheap and bought calico for my patches... and it's fraying... and the patches are falling off. oh well ;) still looks cool. i use lots of bright paints.

This thread reminded me that someone from uni wanted the balloon girl image to make a patch or shirt for herself. (she liked my tshirt...):D
I got bored with a pair of jeans and cut them off at the knee, stencilled a Hello Che on one leg (but it faded and you can't really tell what it is :() and painted some Asian Dub Foundation lyrics on the other leg. Those shorts get me much lefty love.

I'm all for creases. I've never had a pair of jeans pressed, though. Getting the wrinkles out is enough, IMO.
