... this is a leftist forum. We either don't vote or vote for someone other than Bush. Why do you post suggesting that people here vote for Bush?

Ah, yes, Clinton left a BUDGET SURPLUS! What a great guy! I guess this means we can forget about all the children he left in poverty with his "end of welfare as we know it," his assault on Mexican campesinos with NAFTA, his "tough on crime" stance that threw many more people in jail in a country that already has the highest imprisonment rate in the world, his bombing of the Sudanese medicine factory, his murderous sanctions and bombings on Iraq, his bombings of Yugoslavia, and countless other atrocities.
Viva Fidel!!

Fuck George W. Bush and Bill Clinton. Republicans and Democrats are the same thing. The only people they help are the rich. Although I have to say I am eager for 2008 to come around so this pathetic asshole is removed from office. I just get sick of listening to his idiotic statements.

Perhaps I am not seeing the same post as you are, but I don't see any suggestion about why one should have voted for Bush...
To answer your question however, and possibly start a discussion about how to make a substantive change the status quo. I believe that Bush was the correct choice for President. I say this from a revolutionary, anti-imperialist perspective.
Why? The reasons are many. Pretty well summed up in this article from 2004, just prior to the last pseudo-election: Why Bush May Well Be the Lesser Evil (http://olm.blythe-systems.com/pipermail/nytr/Week-of-Mon-20040913/006225.html)

ok i'm sick of the democrats and republicans are the same bullshit. yes there very similar and they're both in the pockets of the rich but it doesn't mean there exactly the same. if america elected a democrat in in 04 a lot would be different right now. probably not economically but i'm pretty sure the u.s wouldn't be in iraq and who knows we might have gay marriage in a few states besides massachuesetts.
so i'm not saying i like either party i'm just saying it's a little bit ignorent to call them the same thing

If you hate bush, there are plenty of guys around here who feel the same way.
You should meet up with them.
Maybe you could go to the movies with them or something and have coffee later.
