I went to see it a couple nights ago at a free NPR screening in SoHO, NYC. Very good film with some amazing footage of that era. The scenes of the protestors and of Yoko w/ John were very moving. Its weird how the world is back in the same funk, but now we lack people like John...

Amazing film! They kinda made Jerry Rubin seem like a dick. The interviews with G. Gordon Liddy were pretty freaky though, it really shows him for the sick-ass rat bastard he is. At the end, when Gore Vidal said "Mr. Lennon represented life, and that is admirable, and Mr. Nixon and Mr. Bush represent death" the entire theatre stood up and applauded. Very cool.

We have Tim McIlrath and Justin Sane. Not quite the same, I know, but Tim's at least equally as poetic and Justin's way more angry.
btw Is this film coming to Britain?

Ditto on the Liddy blurbs and the ovation at the end :D

I really wanted to see this film, unfortunately it is not playing in any theatres near me. I guess I'll have to wait until it comes out of video.
