The awareness of vulnerability, mortality, death...
Fear is my first impulsive reaction...
And I desire safety, self preservation, self survival, self in general...
Lead me to action, behaviour...
I form relationships with my environment...
I am conscious,
My mind understands, I develop an ideology...
"Capitalist, Communist, Socialist, Fascist, Anarchist, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Atheist, Agnostic, Satanist", etc...
I behave, and in relation to my behaviour I believe.
I believe, and in relation to my beliefs I behave.
I buy, I sell, I work, I obey, I support, I deny, I approve, I order, I believe, I vote, I revolt, I contain, I respect, I defile, I defy, I improve, I nurture, I harvest, I pray, I give, I take, I master, I pronounce, I design, I dissolve, I censure, I scream, I watch, I bow, I stand, I dance, I love, I respect, I degrade, I am, I hold these truths to be self-evident...
(The evidence of the self is overwhelming and behold...)
In relation to my behaviour and my ideology I understand the environment within which I interact.
Power struggles
There are others like me
each with its own behaviours and ideology
each with its own ego, territory
Social order, authority
privilage and property
This is delusional, believing in the self and acting in accordance
This ideology is 'necessary' within the context of this environment
For 'survival' is the only goel
and anything goes
like liars and theives
Fear and desire breed fear and desire
Let it go and live in peace.
Animals don't know this, animals can't see
beyond the self there is nothing
animals can't see...

Raw instinct, fear and desire
first impulse,
Fear the light, desire the mother...
warmth, sex, love, food....
Protection from the elements, build up walls,
a surrogate womb...
This 'mine' is not truth...
Let it go and find that peace in emptiness.
Desire for peace?
Futile narcissist.
Fear of death?

justified by delusional ideology
cannot but lead to conflict and suffering
cannot see but Fear and Desire
let it all go and live-die in peace
Not so easy,
but truth is without belief
whether or not you see
