Um...Flogging Molly isn't folk-punk at all.

IMPORTANT EDIT: I saw Defiance when they came to town this fall. I have their poster up on my wall right now. One of the most amazing bands I've ever seen live.

DOUBLE IMPORTANT EDIT: Those guys sound pretty cool. Plan-It X tends to have sweet bands.

Against Me! is a lot more punky than bands like Defiance. Not to say they aren't good (well, not anymore they aren't, but they were).

a ghost mice show coincides wiht my next visit to texas so im looking forward to that :D

I'm a Ghost Mice fan myself if you couldn't deduce that from my user name. I still say Defiance, Ohio takes the cake in the folkpunk scene but older Against Me! is good, before they became a kinda generic poppunk band
