it's not the effect of capitalism, capitalism has nothing to do with it, it's just xenophobia. Why do so many people want to blame everything on capitalism?

Exactly. Angry people say that Chechens and other control too much business in Kondopoga. So economic factors do mean.

xenophobia may have underlying economic reasons, but it's also a very primitive instinct: you see a stranger, so you're on your guard, they may be friend or foe, you don't know. But that instinct is of course not relevant anymore in a modern society.
So basically, racists are really scared, close-minded people
