I want to get involved in radical politics on an action-oriented level. However, I am having difficulty finding organizations. I am an anarchist.

That doesn't look like it is for me. As far as I can tell, they support North Korea and other pseud-communist countries. They at least advocate stopping "counterrevolution" in those areas.

I am on a list (no commitment) for Amnesty International, which I am unsure about working with ... although it would look good on a resume.

It isn't radical, but I signed up for Right to Play - so I guess involvement doesn't have to be radical but I would like to do something in that end.

Though no political affiliation, I am on a list for the Coalition Against War on the People of Iraq and Internationally:

Try looking for squatted social centres in your area, you will usually find anarchists there.

I would have no idea where to find those. Any suggestions?

I live in Vancouver. Your best bet is www.stopwar.ca. They are a progressive broad anti-war coalition. They hold rallies quite often as well as monthly organizational meetings.

In you live in Vancouver, head over to Commercial Drive.
This working class neighbourhood has many Anarchists residing there and just look for flyers stapled up for demos and workshops, punk shows.
Try Peoples Co-op Books on the Drive, and Spartacus Books on Hasting street and Carral Street just above Hemp B.C./ Marijuana Party headquarters.
There were Anarchist meetings held in the bookstore after hours in the recent past.
Under The Volcano Festival has a website with an activist directory for the Vancouver area.

Try the Dogwood Socialist Education Centre, 706 Clark Drive. It serves as the Communist Party of Canada BC office but countless radical left group use the building for meetings. There is usually some kind of meeting happening there.
