myspace is really good for finding underground bands, I just found out, for example:
Inner terrestrials
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendid=33550517 (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=33550517)
Usual Suspects:
http://www.myspace.com/usualsuspectspunx
and from there, you just click on other band's logos to check them out :D
Just thought I'd share that with you.

MYSPACE IS SO FUCKIN PRETENTIOUS!!!! How many people look exactly the same from Bristol to LA! All bloody identical! It's also really cliquey and full of wemos.
Oh I'm emo my mum wouldn't let me get a pair of cons and some soundalike band's tshirt!!! I write journals and poetry that could never measure up to Mick Northbrdge's and I selfharm because it's cool. I'm an outcast even though I'm really popular because of or why I'm so fucking stupid!!!"

Have you guys noticed that the internet has pushed us all a bit further towards anarchism by making a lot of popular music and movies freely available to many people. By letting people communicate with each other with ease at little or no cost.
Next step is free food and housing but I don't see how the internet is going to supply us with the last two.

The internet has been a great help towards anarchism. Strange but true.

Myspace can be good for many bands, I have found good bands on there before. But I hate the website, I don't have a user account anymore.
such a shame there are still so many nazi bands and fanpages still on there, how on earth do they manage to hang around for so long without getting banned, then they just keep coming back !

Myspace gives you a good excuse to take dozens of photos of yourself.

There are some great bands on Myspace; the best bands are probably underground anyway. The internet; and specifically Myspace, gives bands with enough motivation and ambition a way to advertise and put in effort to spread word of the band without the help of a major Record Label.
I usually just find Skate Punk Bands; which are usually also PopPunk; Hardcore Punk; Ska Punk; and Political all thrown together into one delicious wrap.
