I for one, believe for the most part Nietzsche's ideas were all anti-metaphysical. Some will object and say that if one cannot see the application of will to power then it is nonsensical or logically unconfirmed. However, if one looks at the writings, one can find that this is just a misinterpretation of his writings. He means will to power as a sociological observation. He is defining it as a force found naturally in epochs, city-states, nations, ecclesiastical institutions, and communities of many colours. Perhaps it is a way for people to find power either through physical means, or to produce it abstractly and vengefully through religion, or philosophy?
