Class War is appalled at the carnage that is occurring in the Middle East. We are also disappointed but not surprised at what is being said about it, especially by some "progressive" organisations.

Lebanon is being turned into a grotesque war-games board as the real protagonists - The USA and Iran use their proxies to slug it out.

Neither the Israeli army nor Hezbollah give a flying fuck about 'their' civilians, except as bloody totems to hang in front of the cameras of the world's press in order to justify their own next atrocity.

The left have adopted two approaches...

"An enemy of my enemy is not my friend"
Well who ever said that Hezbollah is our friend?
What the left in Lebanon is saying is that Hezbollah right now is not the enemy.
We are at a state of war, and its not the time nor the place actually to start that kind of talk.
57 people died today and all are civillians, is that all you can say?
I'm starting to get depressed by some of our commrads
We should be all one, condeming all the brutality and the massacres and the killing of the innocent!

Urm, class war were condemning the brutality and the massacres. Commited by religious nutjobs against working class people. I'd definitely called Hezbollocks our enemy, they are killing proletarian people as part of their religio-fascist adgenda.
