What methods can be used today to wage war against the capitalist class, that could not be used decades ago?
How can we counter copyright, and how can the anti-copyright movement [help us] move towards the revolution?

Of course, the internet is a very powerful tool. I also think we have the power of being able to look at a longer history of success and failure than the New and Old left did.

I couldn't agree more. The internet has allowed radical politics to have a space. It allows an easier way to spread ideas, and bypasses the usual constraints of most forms of mass media.
I think that is the one difference (or at least the biggest) this time around.

More people are becoming against the modern copyright.. I guess you could use the anti-copyright stuff as a door to radicalism. File-sharing could be a good introduction into gift economics.
The Open-Source movement is another great way to introduce radicalism. Everyone can edit and change the code to their liking and improvement for the advancement of the program and the community.

On copyright, what about building a community of musicians, authors, etc, prepared to give out their music for free all on one site with an accessible system of voluntary donations to either individual artists or artists as ranked by the community? Probably already been done, though.
More ambitiously, it might be possible to use the internet to set up a socialist nation. Unlike socialist movements limited to one country, such a project would be inherently internationalist - entirely without borders - and we would have 'results' immediately, continually gathering momentum, rather than being wiped out due to investing in and depending on narrow political causes, or waiting until working class consciousness magically and suddenly pops up pandemically.

Sorry. I didn't word that correctly. I mean that we have more to look back at in history to show us what works and what does not work. The New and especially the Old Left didn't have the ability to look back at what previous revolutionaries did as much as we do now.
