Hello, Larissa,

I'm sorry, I wish I could do this in private, but there's no e-mail address listed in your profile.

My translator colleague Mauricio-José Schwarz and I, Tomás Rosa Bueno, are very interested in knowing something from you.

Could you please write to me in private?

Thank you, and saludos de Brasil,

Tomás

Why do you ask for her? Do you know her? I just find it odd that you ask for her in your first post, very suspicious. Give me a little more information about you and I'll give you a little information that you may or maynot find helpful.....

*looks at you suspiciously*

Felicia,

Larissa has been posting in this forum messages written by me for two other fora, not related to each other, and much less to this one. I may know her, and I may not know her, but she certainly knows me, since she calls me "a friend who lives in Argentina".

She's also posted messages sent by a colleague of mine who's a translator to another forum. He also says he has no memories of meeting Larissa.

Is this reason enough for my curiosity?

Greetings,

Tomás

hmm, so you're after her in a bad way? Or are you just trying to show me that she knows of you?

:)

Felicia,

as for *who* I am, just google my complete name and you'll know a large part of it. You'll also see that I am *never* seen in bad company.

Tomás

hey now. I'm just asking if you want to get a hold of her for good reasons.

I've just explained to you why I wanted *her* to write to me *in private*. She could have used a hotmail address for all I care if she didn't want to disclose her address to me.

I do not wnat to "get a hold" of her. I just want to know *why* she calls me "a friend who lives in Argentina" and posts my messages here.

Now, will you please tell me what's *your* interest in this? Or are you just going guardia de manzana on me?

No, I'm just playing 20 questions with you, don't get grumpy ;)

Ok, all I can really tell you is that she hasn't posted since June 20th. You can use the messenger function at this site to send her a private message (using: Larissa), but because she hasn't been around for a while, I don't know how quickly she will respond, she just sort of disappeared. I have her private email but I had that in my messenger inbox.... which was completely deleted (server problems) a week or more ago so I don't have it until I get my inbox back, which may not be for a while.

I doubt that this was very helpful.

Oh, by the way. I've just read somewhere that she's in Europe for a trip, she'll be back in mid-late August.

You should try back then :)

I'll do it. But, as I told you, I was just curious.

Thank you anyway.

Felicia

yup :)

Larissa isn't her real name, if that might help solve the confusion of whether you know her or not.....anyway. Around August 20th or so, she shoiuld be back :)

That I knew already, because she couldn't have access to some of these messages unless she was participating in a specific translation discussion list. But there's no "Larissa" in that list.

What really got my curiosity was seeing that she also has access to another closed forum, totally unrelated to translation matters, about the recent radical democratic movements in Argentina.

So I have a translator colleague who also shares my interest for the Argentinian situation. This is good news.

And she probably knows who I am, but I don't know who she is. Frustrating.

ahh, she's lives in Buenos Aires, so that could explain why she's involved in the forum to do with the political movements, she's very interested in the situation there. I'm quite sure that her name is Mariana and I can't pronounce her last name, being as it's long and spanish and all
