I wondered, we humans live in a vast universe, where are nearly nothing, a speck, to the universe and our lives on earth are but fractions of a second relative to geological time. I look at humanity as if I was in another planet and I see humans running around, scurrying to make more money, believing that they are so great, when in reality they are nothing. Do you understand me? I see them killing each other for meaningless things in my perspective. Im not sure if this is an "-ism" or not, so tell me if it is.

This is a major factor as to why I am a revolutionary. I want to see humanity go back to its natural, co-operative self-being that it is supposed to be. I want to see humans live in harmony regardless of race or religion. A society where we dont need to kill eachother or be so egocentrical but can appreciate oursleves for what we are; just humans in a vast universe. What do you think?

I think this is an increadiblyh fluffly senseless thread and i hope you were stoned when you wrote it cause it would be a bit embarrasing otherwise...

I think that most people are revolutionaries because they want a better world.

People see problems in this society and internationally, and they want to fix it.

There are a variety of possible reasons they want to fix it, many are alturistic, many are simply self centred, but see a better world for themselves only in a better world for all.

I think most of us here do not want to see people killing each other or irrational prejedeces.

But I also think that we don't need a spirituallity to want these things. Irrationality is bad, whether it is of the form of religion or some other non-materialistic thing.

Firstly, humans are not naturally cooperative. They are cooperative because material conditions make it in their based interests be cooperative. Furthermore, I agree that the illusion of race should not divide us; however, religion is a set of beliefs. Saying religion should not divide us (and it is irrational) is like saying rationality and irrationality can peacefully coexist. Also, killing is likely going to occur throughout human existence as it is inevitabily going to be in someone's best interest at some point in time. Furthermore, it is natural for humans (if they are rational) to look out for their best interests. In that sense, they are egocentrical. As for the idea of us being small specs in the universe, I think it is unbeneficial to degrade one's individual worth as it can lead to low self-esteem and a lack of inspiration/motivation to create or make a difference.

I am sure your intentions were fine when you made this thread, but I do have to side with TragicClown.

In short, hastalavictoria, you want human beings to be in a state of stupor from birth till death. In fact, to be a revolutionary, which you profess to be, you must be a feeling, active, self-interested, anthropocentric human being.

Why we constantly whine about human nature, I don't dig.

What is, is.

You want a lot of things. Where did that originate, I wonder. Did you know that Redstar2000 is 68 (!) years old and he still a sarcastic, *****in', kickin' hick? And now, I don't know where he is, or what he's been doing but all I know is, he is a true revolutionary and I envy him. If I could I would marry him. But he is old. :(

Maybe, I want his baby.

I've not actually read anything written by RedStar2000 that I've agreed with yet. Hmm. He puts his points across nicely I suppose.

I see no reason to be loyal to the human species......if there was an alternative :D
