Prince, baby! Songs like "Damn U" and "Sweet Baby", from his 1992 record "Prince & The New Power Generation". The album is filled moody tracks about everything between heaven and earth(on a woman).

Well the last time I bonked someone we had Apocalyptica's best of on the stereo. Not that this thread is really asking about that. <.<

They're always good, or maybe some Massive Attack/Tricky type stuff. Blues and the more laid back blues-rock are also good- very sassy- I'm thinking Yardbirds here, Miles Davis, Nina Simone etc. Or even a few Zep songs.

And a handful of old Live songs, like Turn My Head, Lightning Crashes and even Lakini's Juice. Though they're really doing a good job of making me asamed of ever having liked them

Some songs to lay a lady down to:

Marvin Gaye.. who doesnt want to get it on with some Marvin Gaye in the background. Shit the guy's a legend.

Isley brothers - Whos that lady

There was one song by M. Ward that I had in mind.. i forget the title now.

Bright Eyes - Pull my Hair.. I've always wanted that to happen

And soooo many more!!

Thanks for all the suggestions so far,

But could people perhaps make some more specific suggestions? I.E. individual tracks/albums by these artists?

Thanks a lot :)
