I realise this kind of thing probably pops every so often, and i would like to ask for your indulgence. What i was wondering is if anyone has ever organised or thought about organising a big meeting, or forum where movements and individuals from around the world and from a broad number of feilds would come together to establish common ground between all revolutionary movements fo the world. This way anarchists, communists, pacifists and so on would be able to create a common ground and a relatively more unified front. It would also serve to put an end to infighting. Thats the first part.

If this encuentro were to take place what practical dispositions would we need to enact. I mean how many people would be prepared to atend such a meeting. Would it be more usefull to do continental meetings or even national ones, and then coordinate these into one that encompases all of the sub forums with representatives from each country or continent?

As far as i know nothing of the sort is really done. I mean there are those forums that are almost always before during and after the G8, but as far as i understand it they are more to address the issue of globalisation than capitalism, as far as i understand it anyway. There are also those encentros that the Zapatistas organised at the begining of the uprising in their "Aguascalientes" but those were in mexico and therefore not that many people had the means of getting there.
