Anyone who knows of Canadian politics may know of the NDP. Well before the NDP existed there was the CCF (Cooperative Commonwealth Federation). Well they formed the first socialist government in North America in the province of Saskatchewan under Tommy Douglas in 1944. Tommy Douglas is famously known as the "Father of Medicare" in Canada. Anyway a simulation game of the politics of Saskatchewan is being simulated starting with the 40s.
So far the CCF have won thier first election against the Saskatchewan Liberal Party. The CCF need members to carry on the struggle to create medicare, labour legislation, and create prosperity on the praries. As a player you will be an MLA. You can serve in Cabinet, and even become Premier someday. The game is completely free and will simulate a socialist revolution that changed the political face of Saskatchewan and Canada for decades to come.
