I am wondering what any of you think of the ideas of Henry George, aka, geolibertarianism/georgism. I myself am a geolibertarian. For those who have found out what do you think of his complete idea. Is it the same as capitalism or something different. How compatible with socialism is it? Also, would you consider mutualists to be among your revleft brethren? I am not a mutualist but I am just wondering.

From what I've gathered, geolibertarianism is essentially capitalism, except you have to pay the state/community for using the land (Land is owned by all of society, and you "rent" the land that you own.)

It's pretty much capitalism.

If you hold geolibertarianism as capitalism, it obviously isn't compatible with socialism.

Also, would you consider mutualists to be among your revleft brethren?

Personally, yeah. They are not only anti-capitalist, but anti-state as well. I actually started off as a mutualist, and then moved further to the left.
