A friend from out of state recommended this web site when we got talking about politics at a wedding. I like what I've seen so far, and I thought for my first post I'd share something useful - small bottles of lip balm with Che's face on them:

http://www.stupid.com/stat/CHEL.html

An excellent way to spark a political debate anywhere, very cheap and cool. The site also has a Che watch for sale (linked on that page)

That's why it's called stupid.com. Apparently they missed the irony of mass-marketing an icon of a socialist revolution ;)

Yeah, if you DO buy che things because of lack of craft skills buy it from the che-lives store or cuba.

*Sigh...*

Fucking Che merchandise.. it still gets me pissed off sometimes. This should be in the "Che" forum anyway.

And Wintermute, welcome to the boards! ;)

Yeah, it's pretty sick. I've also seen a product for sale called "Leninade"

Is it just me, or does this look like an intentionally ironic joke?

leninade is actually a really good joke, you can't not smile reading the fine print; "get hammered AND sickled".

theres nothing funny about 20 dollar che tees though.

Yeah, I got a few bottles of it right beside me, I think its F*cking hilarious!

(from the bottle)
"Beware the repressed Communist party animal who is really a porletarian in denial masquerading as a bourgeois cold war monger!"

"Our 5-year plan: Drink a bottle a day and become a hero of Socialist flavor!"

"Suprisingly Satisfying Simple Soviet Style Soda"

"Misha, chill down this bottle & chill out!"

"Get hammered & sickled!"

"Drink, Comrade! Drink! It's this or the gulag!"

"A taste worth standing in line for."

Who gives a shit? It's not like anyone takes bottles seriously.
