Here is a song by a swedish rapper that he also sent as an open letter to the swedish prime minister Gøran Persson.. What do you think about it?

A letter (open letter to the swedish prime minister)
Lyrics Timbuktu
A translation from swedish to english, maybe some words are lost in translation

This text more or less is a letter, made for you to see all the mistakes. Hereby I make my opinion public, paragraph of introduction. Now what´s bothering me. Have you noticed that more violent crimes are commited with weapons. Dont you know why? Sleep on it. No, lets start looking at it globally. The total spectrum, from stavation to terror, from big scale wars to strict laws and rules. Big companies are lacking concern about love for humanity and the planet. Mr Prime minister - you ought to know that the evil president of USA dont give a shit about you and me. Because he is the great great grandchild of the Ku Klux Klan, he is a greedy guy, robbing people from NY to Tadjikistan. And the facist business that he represent, you know, you ahve seen him and converated with him. So did you have a nice time? Did you come to any nice conclusions? Can I come with you next time, that would be interesting

If you are the leader lead us the right way, because many directions in the world are wrong. Shape up man its time for you to take you responsability. Pick up the phone and make a call for peace. Today I said! Dont wait, its already late. Walk against the current, change the rules of their game. I know it seems hard but do us a favor. Do what it takes to make things right again.

Sweden is a tolerant country, isnt it so? Göran - talk to Gearge Bush sometime, as a representative - because you are elected by the people. I mean - kick the righties butts sometimes goddamit, and watch out for the Nazis, they are growing strong. Like in Copenhagen, our neighbour country. You and your crew ought to see that Scandinavia has gotten a disease. Justy like Italy to the Benelux, where the good forces probably have surrendered. Austria, France, the list goes on. But Göran you and y our crew hopefully disses them. Because the world starts to look really bad. I have heard rumours that in Sweden, our social welfare is giving in. Please dont make us a mini America. If you give all power to Brussels we are going to get hysterical. Truth to be said, Im getting paranoid. Im worrying about our kids and their future life. We are making big steps, but in the wrong direction. Göran please listen to this rapping letterbomb.

Göran I love life, thats why Im writing, in strange political times where it seems rotten. The police in Gothenburg goes free, the message you are sending is that we cant trust your government and the politicians. To only respect our freedom to a certain limit, my advice is to think thoroughly, so that the revolution doesnt have to start in Western Europe. We are living closely together and have to get along. No more communication on a dead frequency. Everything has a consequence.
Best regards - Jason

Ps. Feel free to talk to me.. ...

If my memory serves me right, wasn't it in Sweden that the Police opened fire with live ammo on the W.T.O protesters?
Do they do that all the time in Sweden?

P.S Fuck Howard!!!

Your memorie serves you well, it is true that teh Police did open fire into groups off innocent people. They allso shot one guy in the stomach when he tryed to hit a number of policemen (5-8) with a stone, wich wasnt even close to hit.
The police did a number of elegal arrests, and betings.
None of the officers has been punished, some got a varning. The case has been closed and reopened a number of times, and the DA has been changed.

It´s a unusual incident in Sweden, we don´t have that much Cop violence (not reported atleast) normally, but this was an extreeme fuckup by the Swedish police-department.

Yes you are right, the police did open fire with live ammo. It was a really messy situation. A friend of mine got hit in a finger as well. The police wasnt really trained for that sort of thing and didnt get the proper equipment since they were kind of caught with surprise. As for Dench, the police have been reported many times for being violent, but its very rare that the police do have to answer for it. There is made a documentary about the demonstration, but it hasnt hit the cinemas yet and I havent gotten a hold of it.
