Although a fully feldged lefty, i work for one of the biggest Capitalist organisations in Scotland.

When i began working with them, i had not yet turned to Marxism. I eventually started to develop my understanding and following empathy towards left politics.

The institution i refer to is the Halifax Bank of Scotland. As a full time student, this job is only a part time gig and my hatred towards the organisation is displayed in my mannerisms at work.

A lot of bank profit is gained through charges placed upon its customers for ANY little thing they can get away with. I tend to fuck with this system as best i can - where i notice ANY charge on a customer's account, i clear it. Plain and simple. I simply dont believe in profits being made at the expense of others.

I will only be there til i finish university in 3 years, but until then i believe i should stay and continue to break them from the inside - even if the contribution is minimalistic.

Opinions?

Sounds ok with me it wont bring capitalism to its knees but clearing charges could help out alot of people if only in a small way - just try make sure your only helping poor people and not some rich fucker ;)

It's cool, just try and get away with as much as you can while you're there

I think you more than make up for it with the stuff you're doing against them. Keep up the good work :P
