2 PM yesterday, swedish time, Stockholm Homeless together with several factions of the invisible party occupied the Civic square (Medborgarplatsen) in central Stockholm, in protest of the neo-liberal housing policy. At the Cvic square the major political parties have raised their election cabins (for the election this autumn) but now some of them are home for the homeless (and paper walls with information from various radical groups are raised around other cabins.
Flyers (and cakes) were spread, football and music was played, discussions and debates were held. Also free pirate cinema (V for Vendetta) was shown at the square at midnight. Also free outside internet (very pleasant sitting with a laptop taking a bear while watching this incredible event), grafitti walls, dancing and other social activities.
People of avery age visited in great numbers and the reaction was almost always positive.
