Hello. My name is Nik and I live in the States. I suppose I came across my fondness for communism in the strangest place imaginable - a videogame. The game Civilization II for the Playstation had Lenin as the leader and that's how I got intrigued by him. My actual interest in communism came crom the fact that it was the easiest government to operate on the game. lol There were no protests as in the others governments (Democracy and Republic), you could still have a technological society and so-forth. However, I read the description of it off the game and then went to learn more from our local library and that was about 7 years ago. I now follow it and defend it whereever I go (I accidentally said "good" when we talked about post-WWII Europe and the communist governments sprouting up. Teacher is cool though and he is very centered and sees both sides of everything so he was alright with it) I choose not to argue with anarcho-communists though I disagree with them because people who subscribe to this ideology have enough enemies without us fighting among ourselves, I say.
Anyway...I'm glad to be here. :) I hope to have many insightful conversations with the members.
