This is a direct attack on the objectivity of history. teaching children that there is only one way it happened, the way that Jeb Bush and his dim-witted lackies say.

I think this is the case in several states, particularly the other Southern ones as well. Instilling patriotism especially at a young age is nothing new in the US.
