The All African People's Revolutionary Party expresses solidarity
with the Lebanese People and
categorically condemns zionist-israel's bombing campaign in Beirut
On behalf of the All African People's Revolutionary Party ("AAPRP")
inclusive of its women's wing, the All African Women's Revolutionary
Union ("AAWRU"), we stand in revolutionary solidarity with the
struggling Palestinian masses in Palestine and the struggling
Lebanese masses in Lebanon as they continue their just struggle
against the twin evils of zionism and imperialism.
The AAPRP is extending this letter of solidarity at yet another
tumultuous phase of brutality and military destruction unleashed by
the illegal, unjust, zionist state of israel. zionist israel
continues its ungodly campaign of terror and genocide in occupied
Palestine and Lebanon with the single purpose of breaking the resolve
of the Palestinian and Lebanese masses. zionist israel acts in
perfect unity with the axis of evil consisting of the governments of
the imperialist usa, britain and complacent governments within the
european union. The just loving peoples of the world continue the
fight against zionism and imperialism which will be defeated!
The AAPRP note the recent chronology of events in Lebanon:-
July 18, 2006 - Isreali jets pounded Lebanon with a new wave of
deadly air raids yesterday sending the death toll above 200 after
less than a week of military aggression. Israeli jets destroyed
roads, bridges, power stations, and fired at least 10 missiles on
runways at the Beirut International Airport.
While Foreign Minister Monouchehr Moltaki of Iran proposed a
'cease-fire' and exchange of prisoners between Israel and Arabs, the
US maintains "Israel has every right to defend itself", advises
against prisoner exchanges and makes no effort to broker a 'cease fire'.
Kofi Annan's statement at the G8 Summit in Russia follows "I appeal
to the parties to focus their targets narrowly and to bear in mind
that they have an obligation under international humanitarian law to
spare civilian lives and civilian infrastructure." What does this
say about the powerless nature of the UN to stop zionist
aggression? Already there are 2,000 UN Observer troops in Lebanon
and this hasn't stopped the invasion by Israel.
July 18, 2006 - For the 2nd time in a week an Israeli F-16 jet
yesterday bombed the Foreign Ministry of Palestine in Gaza. These
weapons are manufactured and provided by the us. These deadly
weapons are ultimately the true weapons of mass destruction. Clearly,
the us through their relations and weapons exchange is working hand
in hand with zionist israel in this aggression.
Operation summer Rain has killed over 85 Palestinians in
Gaza. Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said Israeli attacks
on ministries "prove these actions are to paralyze the work of the
Palestinian government and to destroy the foundations of the
Palestinian political system."
The AAPRP categorically condemns the barbaric acts of the illegal,
unjust, zionist state of Israel and demands an immediate cessation of
its military operations in the area and an end to the brutal
occupation of Palestine.
On July 24, Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice made a 'surprise'
visit to Beirut purportedly to try to broker a peace agreement. She
then travelled to zionist-Israel stating "President Bush wanted this
to be my first stop here in Lebanon to express our desire to urgently
find the conditions in which we can end the violence," she
said. Washington remains adamant any cease-fire between Israel and
Hezbollah militants must be sustainable.
On late Tuesday, July 25th an israeli aircraft hit a United Nations
post in southern Lebanon, killing four international observers. The
four UN observers had taken cover in bunkers after 14 israeli
airstrikes landed nearby throughout the day.
Approximately 350 Lebanese civilians have died in the bombings and
more than 35 israelis.
We categorically condemn the political and military role of the
government of usa in occupied Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and
throughout the middle east.
We recognize that zionism as practiced by the illegal state of israel
and imperialism are inextricably linked and committed to a single
agenda of monstrous exploitation of the land, people and resources of
the world, by utilising state-sponsored terrorism, genocidal military
force, economic treachery and poisonous propaganda.
The AAPRP also recognizes that the blood of innocent men, women and
children continues to flow down the streets of occupied Palestine and
Lebanon and the spilling of their blood must be redeemed by the
victory of the Palestinian masses and Lebanese people.
We call upon all peace loving peoples and nations of the world to
effectively organise yourselves and put pressure on your respective
governments to put an immediate end to these atrocities!!
