Thos bastard...he most likely killed that poor girl. She was born in 1990 I believe...she'd be 16 today. Its so goddamn sad that people like this take precious life away from us.
I honestly think this bastard should be shot if hes guilty.

If he's guilty then he should be punished, but I'm not that worried about the situation. It's just a way for the media to hope that all Americans forget that the US' policies are responsible for millions of deaths by focusing on one particular death.

From Wikipedia:
Missing white woman syndrome, also known as missing pretty girl syndrome, is a tongue-in-cheek term coined by some media critics to reference a form of media hype in which excessive news coverage is devoted to a specific missing white woman or girl, while virtually ignoring missing men, non-white women, or other news stories.
According to these critics, reporting of these stories often lasts for several days or weeks, sometimes even months, and displaces reporting on other current events that some people consider more newsworthy, such as economics and politics. This syndrome appears to be most prevalent in U.S. media, but famous examples can also be found elsewhere in the world, e. g. the United Kingdom.
Breaking story
According to developers of MWWS theory, the typical case involves 24-hour cable news media providing regular coverage on a daily basis of any and all developments, accompanied by lengthy discussions about the meaning of such developments by the shows' hosts and their guests.
Such guests typically have a background in law and are invited by the host to freely speculate about evidence, suspects, and motive. Family pictures and video of the subject are shown frequently and repeatedly, and friends and family of the subject or a spokesman for them are frequently invited as guests and asked their opinions of the investigation and any evidence or suspects.
As a story gains popularity, tabloid news outlets often pick up on it, many times leading to questionable or unofficial information being reported as hard news.
Seriously, who gives a crap about some computer software executive's overrated kid? No wonder why I hate the MSM so much!
And how typical that a resident cappie would post this story!

Plus, you guys are making a big deal out of this, this story is probably not much covered at all elsewhere around the world. In the US yes, because it was a popular domestic case. The murder of a six year old beauty queen peagent.

It was a tragic thing to happen, but if she wasn't a white blonde girl the media would completely ignore the whole situation.

Ohh come on Chenghis, thats not true. If there was a slained 6 year old black or hispanic girl she will get media coverege too. The fact is this girl was a beauty peagent, thats what made her stand out i guess. But im sure if there was a white little girl who wasn't a beauty peagent , she would of gotten less attention maybe.
The fact is , she is back in the news because they captured the confessed killer, why shouldn't that be in the news?

You're right, an African-American or Hispanic girl would get media attention, but it would maybe be a day or two. The media and the ruling class forment racism, and it's evident in their behavior.

We had a very young African American girl vanish from Milwaukee a few years ago under very suspicious circumstances. Still missing, family likely involved. Didn't get coverage outside of the state.
But the Ramsey is getting global coverage. BBC, etc. 10 years later.
Rich white family has their aryan daughter killed, everyone hears about it, even 10 years later. And I will say this for the record, her mother was insane putting her daughter through that whole beauty queen life. Some twisted form of Munchausen Syndrome.

But no, it was "just some guy" who did this. If a black or latino guy did it, you know what we would hear from reactionary assholes all across america.

Yes, that's why people who are charged with crimes who are "innocent" are held in jails as they await their court sentencing.

With high profile cases, people make false confessions all the time. Matter fact couple of years ago, someone confessed to this very same murder and it was found to be untrue/hoax.
The only thing they have on this guy, at least what they have made public, tying him to the case is this so called confession. They have no DNA evidence thus far, his divorced wife says he was with him in Alabama that night of JonBenet's death, tons of fallacies. Plus, the man followed the case HEAVY. Always researching the case etc. This could mean he did it and ws keeping eye on the advances in the case, or it could mean he learned alot of information abuot the case, even stuff that general public doesn't know.

One thing that crossed my mind is that he admitted to the murder in order to escape a crime with a more serious penalty in Thailand.
You know, while in custody in thailand he mentions the murder to hias attourney, the attourney phones back to america and talks to the attourney general or whatever, and then organises his extradition from thailand in order to be tried for the murder of jonbennet in the states.
Even though he may still face life imprisionment or the death penalty in the states, he'll probably be a hell of a lot more comfortable in the USA than he would be in prison in Thailand.

You know, that could be.
I also think there is a special reason he is there in Bangkok. Whatever thr truth is I think it's safe to say this guy was a pedophile. My guess is that was one of the reasons he was there in Thailand.
If he were to be executed in Thailand, they would strap him to a gurnee facing at an almost 90 degree angle (upwards). They would search for his heart heat and place a mark on his body at that mark. Then a machine gunner who is close enough to see it would pull the trigger and pump someting like 5 slugs in him.
If he's a teacher he ha some intelligence in that wacky brain of his and did the smart thing by getting theh hell out of there. As it stands there are doubts over his confession.

That's relatively humane compaired to the electric chair, lethal injection or gas chamber (I do realise that the chair is no longer used).
You'd pass out from blood loss/lack of blood pressure in a second, then you'd die a few seconds afterwards. I'd still prefer to be shot in the head if I was going to be executed.

Couldnt agree more.
My guess is that he is that he is betting his lawyers will be able to place enough reasonable doubt in the jurry to get a life sentance or something even less than that. In otherwords, I think his goal is to preserve his own ass anyway he can.
If he was found to be innocent, and was facing charges in Thailand, would we ship him back? I think we would if we had an extradition treaty.

I dont understand your rationale. Because she was in beauty pageants, her father and brother musta killed her? Uhhh, what?

Well I think he has a good point...it takes sick bastards to judge those beauty contests. Plus those contests, which make girls so self aware of their physical appearance, does wonders for their self esteem.
I dont know if it was her father or brother though... But perhaps daddy emjoyed seeing her dressed like that? Its something to consider. I dont think normal people dress their kids like that.

I know, right? Seriously, who wakes up in the morning and says to themself, "hey, I want to go judge a beauty pageant for 6 yr olds!"
Good grief, go fishing or something or go do drugs. IMO, staying home and snorting cocaine is much more constrictive hobby than judging beauty paegants for small children. But for some reason cocaine is illegal.
And the sad part is that these judges of these pageants are probably executives of some sort who hold the key to hundreds and thousands of workers' existences.
In other words...they're bosses!
Just another example of how messed up society is in rewarding socio-pathic behavior.

I was making reference to the judges and the parents of these beauty contests and not the self-proclaimed murderer of some princess. Probably would have grown up to be some stuck-up, ultra-republican ***** anyway.
I could careless about the killer and the "victims"; I'm just sick of seeing examples of where sick individuals (like the parents and the judges) are rewarded high salaries and other privileges like not ever having to worry about having your electricity turned off.

Them being "sick individuals" is subjective. Nobody has the right to decide what is "sick" and what isn't. Human beings are animals, just big brained primates. Everything we do, all of our behavior is "normal" behavior for animals.
This quote quite sums it up: "if you enjoy wickedness, it shows that Nature intended you to be wicked, and it would be wicked not to be."
