And not bee corupted by forgeting the innocent....
-But Also remeber FARC, has been around since Che's time, they have been anti Narco in the past, but forced into that side of Colombia's culture, especially since 1991......

I agree with Kapitan Andrey 100%. What the innocent people of Colombia need to begin to do is just that. Establish and find support. I belive that with all the attention Colombia is getting from all this violence it would be more than possible to gain support into a revolution. For peace and justice. ( Such as what CienfuegosJnr pointed out) It would be the best for tha people.

Bad Andrey. No cookie.
The FARC are our revolutionary brothers in arms fighting for socialism any paying the ultimate price. Their lives. Everyone is so quick to discount them because of being funded by drug money. Who gives a fuck all? Ethics is not stopping the Columbian and Yanquee governments from using whatever means necessary to crush socialism is it? I'm sure it's real nice to be able to sit back and condemn our Columbian comrades from your comfortable homes, drinking a nice cold lager and munching on crisps. Stand the fuck up and support your comrades.
Andrey you really need to get laid.

Comrade Andrey!!!
First af all I am really glad about your promotion! I remember we started in here about the same time and now you have a higher rank than me! congratulations brother!!!
Well I believe everything can be posible in life the only thing is you must be convicted to do so! We are humans and we are the ones that make the difference in history, as I always say we are the main characters of life!
Sometimes I get to think and I realize that some of this groups just do stupid shit just to get in power and gain money! but if you think about it their main goal should be to help the people! That is when I think it should be an option to create a revolutionary force ( there are more reason but here is only one) but always supported by civilians!
Also thanks to fucking corrupt presidents most Latin American countries are fucked up!!! I hate fucking corrups imperialist bastards! Fuck them all!
I believe in the people and I believe in social change but especially I believe we can end this nightmare!
Your Comrade Latin America!

concerning the farc, think of it not as keeping the drug trade alive, but giving the peasants a market for their products. which is all the peasants really want. they respond to the demands of the market, which demands coca. my solution to the drug issue would be to create a new cash crop. any ideas as to what?

it would depend on what the soil's good for. You most likely wont find another cash crop without the govenment's backing and researching support. That would mostlikely mean that they couldn't try to change their crop until the FARC takes full control. Go figure. :-/
Perhaps maybe coffee, I don't know what types of crops they grow there so I can't really make an educated suggestion.
I was just reading some stuff on the farc (coincidently) and apparently 30% of their fighting forse is made up of women, even female comadanta's (in a man's world, that's something else entirely), if a male guerrilla rapes or abuses a female guerrilla and it's reported to the commander, the male is put before a war trial and if found guilty of rape, will be executed. Women carry the same AK-47's and machete's as the men do, by far proving that we are not a weaker sex.
I like the emphasis on equality between the sexes that the FARC has going. I know they get a lot of money from drugs, but I still have much sopport for their movement, you have to get the finding from wherever you can, drugs are a logical source.

the FARC are not socialist, socialists overturn systems thru the masses. These are a maoist group. And the fact they use narcotics for money is a disgrace, just like the Irish fighters
The reason they turn to narcotics is that their base is not the proleteriat who can support a revolutionary group through financial subscriptions but peasantry
Ie they are a narodnik group

Isn't also possible that they are using drug money because the very little that the peasants could give them would be of little help? They are pretty poor.
It's very hard to buy Ak-47's with a cup of rice and beans or coffee. I don't think the peasants have much else to give.

I don't support the FARC. Aside from all the drug money, they also kill alot more than a socialist guerrilla movement should, and they also seem to take random prisoners.

This is nonsense Kamo. FARC are a marxist/leninist rural guerilla group. They use "drug money" to support the revolution. Big deal. They have support from the masses my friend. The current government in columbia makes it very difficult on the people if they voice thier support for the guerillas...The para-militaries are enlisted to burn out villages and slaughter the inhabitants...Kind of makes sense to keep your mouth shut if you live in one of those villages yes?
The Columbian government is HEAVILY SUPPORTED by the US. You cannot suspect them to simply fall down like batista. Columbia is a focal point for South American Socialism. If the governmets falls, many other countries will follow suit. It's not a situation like cuba where there were no bordering countries that could be influencedby a new socialist government.

How can you people blame them for selling coke ? If you are a peasant with no food living in the Columbian jungle you aren't going to give two shits about where this plant you are growing ends up. Don't you people see ? They have NO other options, it's grow coca or DIE.

Comrade Rubble I thinks it's a western stygma. I'm not sure were their logic resides...The columbian government is sending paramilitary death sqads into villages and some individuals are *****ing about the FARC being financed by blow. The start in about the peasents being treated bad by the FARC,...Total and complete propaganda. The people have been farming coca for thousands of years.
I was in a club in Lima a couple years ago and people just ever so casually dip and sniff wherever they are at...no running to the bathroom to line up on the back of a toilet (Ahhhhh I loved the Eightees)
Cocaine; the kids love it!

Columbian coffee is great. They should grow more. Coffee doesn't need great soil, it needs quite a bit of water, some shade (some sun too) It's quite a hardy plant.
