It's on on Channel Four at 21:00 tonight. I've seen a few clips and it looks pretty interesting....I suspect it will be similar to Julie Burchill's documentary on "Chavs". Which was, by the way, really good. Anyway, just thought I'd mention it in case anyone was interested....and if you miss it tonight, it'll probably be on S4C soon.

Yeah I'm watching it now, very interesting, but doesn't really show a large view of what it's like, it focuses on just a few mothers, and therefore only really gives their perspective, yet I know it can be a totally different experience for other single mums.

I was kinda' disappointed to be honest. Obviously, it was hard not to sympathise with the two young mothers featured....and, in and of itself, that storyline was pretty decent. Yet, in my opinion, as you rightly point out, it had the potential to be much better....by, for example, exploring the wider implications of societies treatment of single mothers. And, really, they could have done this without changing the format of the programme that much.
