I foudn out today that the band Hoobastank are performing a gig to benefit a struggling school in California so they can hire teachers, shows the state of the education system, doesn't it?!!
Also the book "Jennifer Government" by Max Barry is to be made into a film, which is encouraging a the book is about the porblems with globalisation and means that people may be a little more aware.
