It seems that the United States terror alerts bring fear to foreign cities too. The United States embassy in India issued terror warnings for Mumbai.

I think this is absurd. What the hell is the US doing telling other nations when to watch out?

They're just pushing an agenda. They feel the more people scared of 'terrorism' the more will side with them. It is pure politics.

There are plenty of groups already attacking India so I would think that Al-Qaeda would go through them rather than do it themselves.

Anyways, this warning is not for the whole city but more for the US nationals who are registered with the embassy.
