Hi,
I was in Havana in 1997, and am trying to identify a piece of music I
heard there.
Firstly, it was played over speakers in the Plaza de la Revolucion when
Che Guevara was lying in state.
Secondly, it was played at the Museum of the Revolution next to a
waxwork display of Castro and Guevara in combat.
Does anybody know what the music would be? I'm guessing it's some sort
of theme of the revolution. Or a piece of funereal martial music. It's instrumental, and quite sombre but stirring. It's not the Cuban national anthem, or the Comandante Che Guevara song.
