Getting Answers is what Marxism 2003 is about. So if the last few months have left you asking: Is the US Empire Unstoppable? What is the Alternative To New Labour? Can Palestine be free? or if you have questions about Marxist theory such as Historical Materialism, the Dialectic, come to Marxism and join others discussing the answers.
Marxism will see activisits from across Britain and the world gather to share experiences, learn from each other, and discuss the answers to hundred of questions.
Hear people talk about their experiences in Africa and the Middle East, as well as from Aberdeen and Margate.
Some of the best speakers from the movement will introduce the meetings before they are opened up for you and everyone else to have their say.
The meetings debates and forums inculde the important ones on imperialism, war, democracy and the socialist alternative. They also include more relaxed ones on art and culture. After the meetings the discussions continue, informally and at the cultural events.
Every night there is entertainment from bands which include the national touring 'Love Music, Hate Racism' and the Nottigham band 'The Adventures of Who.' There are also films, including the film 'Frida' about the brilliant Mexican aritst, 'Bowling for Columbine' and Ken Loaches 'Sweet Sixteen.'
