Instinct

I watched an interesting tonight called the 'Instinct'. As an amateur film maker I found some aspects of the movie pretty cheap, there were many disturbing hollywood tricks, and the movie almost had a primitivist perspective, however it did have a critique of the capitalist society and it was a well made movie with a pace. Anyone watched it?

I know this movie and I watched it again yesterday.
I dont think it praises Primitivism.

Ethan Powell (Anthony Hopkins), the Ape Man says, all he wants is mankind to give up their dominion (over nature).
I think we can use technology without dominating nature. Technology only makes it harder (and easier?) to become a contented person.

yeah i agree with anarchist and in that movie i like the scene when Antony Hopkins ask Cuba Gooding jr. WHAT DID I TAKE IT FROM YOU? aa that is the best scene in the movie :D

i only know fight club and instinct, which are :) in that order my favorite movies.
i watched them once in a while to get me back on the ground.
i dont watch tv.

also man bites dog is a very powerful movie something I was not expect from belgium/france cinema it was fast and hard this sounds more like english(britain) cinema to me but anyway it was a very powerful movie and it was a fake documentary too
