Hello. I found this forum through one of my friends who's in RAAN (although I consider myself an anarchist). I help run the boards over at Antifa Music Portal (http://www.antifa-portal.net) which is a website dedicated to anti-fascist culture, not just music. I don't know how much I'll be on here, since my usage of the net is sporadic, but I'll do my best to remain active on here.

I think the bulk of their members are anarchists, but they are open to anyone who is explicitly a revolutionary anti-statist and anti-capitalist.

Most of the RAAN members I've met online were autonomous Marxists.
I brought that up because I wasn't sure what he meant by "although I'm an anarchist".

I don't know about RAAN elsewhere, but the few people I know are communists to one degree or another.

Anarchists are still technically communists since they do want to establish a communist society.

If the contacts you've had are mostly through the Philly chapter then yeah, most of those people are self-identified as communists, but RAAN is pretty much 50/50 as far as participation of anarchists vs. anti-state commies. If the RAANistas you've met have given you the impression that the network is just some sort of Marxist group then you should TP their houses.
