Anyone ever read A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce?

If so, what do you think of it?

I read it...quite a few years ago, and don't remember it particularly well.

I do remember that there's a very descriptive and enjoyable chapter devoted to the catholic concept of 'hell'. I'm an atheist and found it quite fascinating.

I just finished that part. It was quite interesting though, being an athiest as well. I like the contrast between earthly and hell fire. ;)
